Newcap Broadcasting in Lloydminster AB has an immediate opening for a Full Time Traffic / Programming Clerk.  Lloydminster borders 2 great provinces, SK and AB, and is a fast paced growing city with a small town feel.  This is a great opportunity to get into the broadcast industry working with 2 TV stations and 7 Radio stations throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and edit daily programming logs for TV and Radio
  • Reconcile aired logs and submit them to the CRTC
  • Enter sales contracts through Wide Orbit and Broadview software
  • Implement programming and format changes to logs when required
  • Work hand in hand with Sales, Creative, Programming, Master Control, and Finance Departments
  • Additional duties as required

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment, with high attention to detail is an absolute requirement
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Strong communication skills and working computer knowledge are a must
  • Proactive, problem solving individual with strong organizational skills
  • Previous experience with Broadview or Wide Orbit software is an asset but training will be provided
