Message from the Chair

                                               Leah Sobering

It takes a lot of hard work, devotion and passion to make a not-for-profit organization successful. I want to thank all of the employees, volunteers, donors and community and employer partners of Champions Career Centre for their ongoing dedication and commitment.

Through our collaboration Champions is able to continue to help many talented people gain meaningful employment. Our combined efforts continue to strengthen our community and make Calgary a more diverse and inclusive place to live, work and play.

I am so pleased to work closely with my colleagues on the board. Each Director brings a unique skill-set and perspective and this diverse group is committed to ensuring Champions can continue to be a leader in not only employment of persons with disabilities but also an advocate of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

I look forward to continuing our focus on ensuring financial stability, improving existing client and employer services and developing new programs that address the evolving needs of our community.
