- Develop an innovative Employment Proposal through the job development process which positions the strengths of each client relative to the position being sought.
- Ensure that the criteria for current or potential employment positions are clearly understood and documented for client matching.
- Actively market Champions as an agency with highly skilled, capable, dependable candidates for employment and partner in meeting human resources needs.
- Utilize job fairs, open houses, and recruiting sessions held by employers to increase Champions presence in the employer community and thereby emphasize the working partnership.
- Utilize Disability Related Employment Supports ("DRES") system supports to arrange appropriate access to technology thereby making it easier for employers to hire challenged employees.
- Clearly demonstrate that persons with disabilities represent a more qualified and skilled workforce than expected by revealing the number of clients that have high-school diplomas and post-secondary certificates or degrees.
- Enhance working relationships with national equity labour programs so that such partnerships will successfully act as a resource for corporations in meeting human resources needs as it pertains to diversity requirements.
As a result of continued successful placements and employer partnerships, Champions will be considered as the 'agency of choice' for employers desiring to recruit and retain a diverse, inclusive workforce. Champions has the resources, skilled workforce, and the knowledge to ensure a successful transition to employment for people with disabilities and the employers that hire them.
